I’m a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist with 10+ years of experience
I am Olivia Oro, a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist with over a decade of experience helping adults improve communication, cognition, voice, and swallowing function. I understand how deeply communication impacts quality of life. When speech or memory changes, it can affect relationships, independence, and self-confidence.
Results that speak for themselves
Let's get to know each other.
I earned my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Florida International University and have worked across acute care hospitals, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing facilities, and home health settings. My clinical focus includes neurogenic communication disorders such as aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, dysphagia, dementia, and cognitive-communication challenges related to neurological conditions.
My therapy approach
My therapy approach is functional, supportive, and person-centered. Sessions are designed around real-life goals and practical strategies, with encouragement and humor when appropriate. My goal is to help clients and families feel empowered, supported, and confident throughout the rehabilitation process.
